About
Wellmoney Productions is a New York and Milan–based film and theater company founded by playwright and performer Arianna Wellmoney. The company was created to develop bold, emotionally grounded work that lives at the intersection of humor, empathy, and social reflection.
Wellmoney Productions is driven by the belief that theater and film should both entertain and challenge: inviting audiences to laugh while also sitting with deeper questions about identity, relationships, power, and belonging. The company is committed to uplifting underrepresented voices and building genuinely inclusive creative spaces. Across its productions, Wellmoney Productions has prioritized working with immigrant, non-white, and queer artists, centering stories that are often pushed to the margins.
Recent and past projects include He’s Different, You’re Never Gonna Guess Who I Have to Train at Work Today, and Rip Jabari You Would’ve Loved the Apple Dance, developed and presented in New York with collaborators across disciplines. Whether on stage or on screen, Wellmoney Productions seeks to create work that feels urgent, playful, and human — stories that reflect the world as it is, and as it could be.
